SCOPE OF INVOLVEMENT:

 

  • Lead Designer.
  • Created the overall layout and details for the kitchen.
  • Developed two new finishes featured in the article and for the Canac product line; Espresso and Powdered Blue.
  • Acted as liaison between the cabinetry company and the General Contractor, and supervised the installation of the cabinetry.

 

PROJECT:

 

Approached by the Editors of Canadian House & Home for their article “Hidden Beauty”, Canac a Kohler Company provided the cabinetry and Dianna provided the designs and management of the project. Dianna’s work is featured on pages 109 & 110.

KITCHEN & BATH DESIGN NEWS

 

SCOPE OF INVOLVEMENT:

 

  • Lead Designer and Project Manager for the Kohler team.
  • Designed the plans for the photoshoot set and trade show booth, all cabinetry shown in magazine article and developed themes for each room as defined by celebrity input with the Woman's Day Team of Merv Kaufman and Ingrid Bjelland Leess.
  • Supervised the preparation of the architectural drawings for the set. Created two new specialty door style for Canac, "Floret" and "Cosmopolitan", as well as several new accessory pieces as shown in photos. These include: crown moulding, crown cap, pilasters, baseboard, nosing, and bead moulding.
  • Orchestrated and directed the Installation Team for the photo shoot and installation on the tradeshow floor.
  • Company spokesperson for the Kitchen & Bath Design News article.

 

PROJECT:

 

This project was originally created for Woman's Day Magazine and when this Industry magazine, Kitchen & Bath Design News received a preview of the article, they wanted to feature the photos on the cover of their magazine. The article, "Celebrity Style", is featured on pages 118 through 122 of the May 2005 issue.

SCOPE OF INVOLVEMENT:

 

  • Lead Designer and Project Manager for cabinetry team; including direction of the Installation Team in Wisconsin.
  • Acted as liaison between the guest design firm Gluckstein Design and the cabinetry company, Canac a Kohler Company.
  • Created styles, finishes, and specialty items to be detailed and constructed.
  • Company spokesperson for three commercial spots on the project website, www.entertaininghome.com.

 

PROJECT:

 

Large variety of millwork pieces through-out "The Kohler Ultimate Entertaining Home" as featured in the "Sociable Showcase" article stat in Better Homes and Gardens Publication, "Kitchen and Bath Ideas" September/ October 2005, pages 94 to 101.

Photo shoot set and trade show booth for Woman's Day Specials, Innovation Series,"Kitchen and Baths", May, 2005 article as well as for the CKBA booth at KBIS 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

The magazine photo shoot set was given special design consideration to allow it to be constructed, dismantled, transported, and then re-constructed in Las Vegas.

 

The article "Ultimate Amenities" is shown on pages 87 to 104. It was also selected for the special excerpt for the Woman's Day Design Ideas Centre.

SCOPE OF INVOLVEMENT:

 

  • Lead Designer who designed and developed the door and drawer style, as well as the overall vanity display.
  • Directed the construction of the vanity display for IBS 2002.

 

PROJECT:

 

Creation of the bathroom vanity for the IBS 2002 tradeshow showcasing the new Providence Door as a New Product for Canac, a Kohler Company.

 

The strong design features of the new product and vanity presentation prompted FDM Magazine to highlight them on the cover of their March 2003 issue.
